Nashville has been home for nearly twenty years. I've watched it become something, watched the right people open the right doors in the right neighborhoods, and watched some of the wrong ones too. That distinction matters.

For over a decade I've worked inside luxury retail and the business of beautiful things made well. Fine jewelry, fashion, makers who care about what they put into the world. Along the way I built relationships that take years and can't be shortcut.

The Referent is what that looks like from the outside.

Not a tour. Not a shopping list. A day shaped by someone who knows this city the way you know your own neighborhood: who to call, where to go, and just as importantly, where not to waste your time.
