Nashville has been home since 2007. The city and I came of age together, and over the years I've positioned myself alongside the makers and creatives who define it, through every turn and every season, growing with them.

For over a decade, I've worked inside luxury retail and the business of beautiful things made well: fine jewelry, fashion, and makers who care deeply about what they put into the world. Along the way, I built deep, longstanding relationships with the people who make this city worth knowing.

The Referent grew from those relationships.

I know this city, and I know the people who make it worth visiting. The Referent is my way of honoring their craft, bringing visitors past the surface and into the Nashville we know and love.
